Over the past several months, I have been spending quite a bit of time behind the scenes working on my website, updating pages, creating new crafts, organizing my content, and making Crafting Lifestyles by Mary a better place for fellow crafters to visit.
This website has grown and changed, and I wanted the content to better reflect what I enjoy creating and sharing today.
My focus is now centered more strongly on crafting, crochet, paper crafts, diamond painting, and honest product reviews. I love finding simple projects that don’t require a huge supply list or hours and hours to complete. Sometimes the best crafts are the ones you can sit down and finish in an afternoon!
I also enjoy trying products and sharing my experiences so you can learn more about the tools, supplies, and products that may be useful for your own creative projects.
With all of these changes happening, I thought it was the perfect time to share some exciting Crafting Lifestyles by Mary updates with you!
A Fresh Look at Crafting Lifestyles by Mary
One of my biggest goals has been to make the website easier to navigate.
As a website grows, it can be easy for older content, newer projects, reviews, and different craft categories to become scattered throughout the site. I wanted to make it easier for you to find what you are looking for without having to click through several different menus.
Whether you are searching for a quick crochet project, looking for a paper craft to make with supplies you already have, browsing diamond painting ideas, or checking out a product review, I want you to be able to find it easily.
There is still plenty of work happening behind the scenes, but I am excited about the direction the website is taking.
Everything in One Place: The All My Links Page
One of the updates I am especially excited about is my redesigned All My Links page.
Think of this page as a convenient shortcut to some of the most important areas of my website and online community.
Instead of searching through different menus, you can visit one page and find links to things such as:

I also wanted this page to be easy to use from a phone or tablet. Many of us browse craft ideas while sitting at our craft tables, shopping for supplies, or working on a project.
Having the important links together makes it much easier to move from one part of the site to another.

New Crafts, Crochet Projects & More
One of the things I am most excited about is getting back to creating new original craft projects.
I love simple projects that are approachable for beginners but are still enjoyable for experienced crafters.
Crochet continues to be an important part of the website, and I have been working on small, practical projects that can be completed without needing a huge amount of yarn or complicated techniques.
You can expect more projects such as:
- Quick and easy crochet patterns
- Dishcloths and useful household projects
- Small crochet accessories
- Beginner-friendly crochet projects
- Paper and recycled crafts
- Simple craft projects using everyday supplies
- Diamond painting tips and ideas
- Craft organization ideas
I especially enjoy creating projects that are simple, useful, and fun.
You don’t always need an expensive collection of supplies to enjoy crafting. Sometimes a little yarn, some paper, a few basic tools, or materials you already have around the house can become something completely new.
Paper Crafts & Recycled Craft Ideas
Paper crafting is another area I am continuing to develop.
I love the idea of taking something simple and turning it into a useful or decorative project. Recycled crafting makes this even more fun because items that might normally be thrown away can sometimes become the starting point for a new creation.
I will be sharing more easy paper and recycled craft projects, including ideas that can be made with inexpensive or commonly available materials.
If you enjoy making things without spending a fortune on supplies, this is definitely an area you’ll want to keep checking.
Diamond Painting Is Still Part of the Fun
Diamond painting is another creative hobby that continues to have a place here at Crafting Lifestyles by Mary.
There is something relaxing about sitting down, organizing your drills, and slowly watching a picture come together.
I will continue sharing diamond painting-related content, tips, ideas, and experiences along with my other craft projects.
Whether you are completely new to diamond painting or have been doing it for years, I hope you will find something useful here.
Honest Product Reviews
Another important part of the website is product reviews.
When I try a craft product, tool, or other item, I want my reviews to be useful rather than simply saying that something is good or bad.
I want to share what I actually think about the product, what I liked, what I didn’t like, and who I think might find it useful.
My goal is to help you learn more about products before spending your money.
I will continue adding new reviews as I try different products and supplies. You will find these reviews throughout the Product Reviews section of the website.
