Worsted weight (#4) 100% cotton yarn
G – 6/4.00mm crochet hook
Round 1) Make a magic ring. Chain 2 (does not count as a stitch). Work 12 dc stitches into the ring. Slip stitch to the first dc to join. (12 stitches)
Round 2) Chain 1. Work 2 hdc into the same stitch and into every stitch around. Slip stitch to the first hdc to join. (24 stitches)
Round 3) Chain 1. *Work 2 hdc in the first stitch, then 1 dc in the next stitch*. Repeat from * to * all the way around. Slip stitch to the first stitch to join. Fasten off and weave in your ends. (36 stitches)
Tips for Success
Keep tension firm: Try to keep your stitches relatively snug so the scrubbie holds its shape and doesn’t get too floppy when wet.
Create more texture: If you want a scrubbier surface, try working your Round 2 or Round 3 stitches into the third loop of the previous hdc stitches. This pushes the top “V” of the stitch forward, creating a raised, textured ridge that is perfect for exfoliating.
