Mini Crochet Christmas Tree

Materials:

• • Green worsted-weight yarn
  • H-8 (5 mm) crochet hook
  • Small amount of brown yarn ( I use black as I didn’t have brown)
  • Yarn needle
  • ScissorsSize: 3″ tall

Pattern:

Tree:

Ch 2.

Row 1: 2 hdc in the 2nd ch from the hook. Turn. (2)

Row 2: Ch 2, 2 hdc in each stitch across. Turn. (4)

Row 3: Ch 2, hdc across. Turn. (4)

Row 4: Ch 2, 2 hdc in first stitch, hdc across, 2 hdc in last stitch. Turn. (6)

Row 5: Ch 2, hdc across in each st. Turn. (6)

Row 6: Ch 2, 2 hdc in first stitch, hdc across, 2 hdc in last stitch. Turn. (8)

Fasten off.

Trunk:

• • With brown yarn, attach to the fourth hdc st
  • Ch 3 and hdc in same st and next st.
  • Fasten off and weave in the ends.

Holiday Tip: Add a small button, bead, or embroidered stitches for ornaments. You can also make several tiny trees and turn them into ornaments, gift tags, magnets, or a garland.
