4″ Hdc granny square

4" hdc granny

It doesn’t look square, but it is. I measured all sides, etc and it’s 4″

Materials:

Crochet hook size H/8 (5.00 mm)
Small amount of Black and yellow 4-ply worsted weight yarn

Finishing Materials:

Tapestry needle for weaving in ends

Finished Size: 4″ X 4″

Gauge: Not important to the overall size

Skill Level: Easy

Square:

Useing Black

Chain 12 

Row 1) Hdc in second ch from hk, and next 10 stitches, turn: 11 hdc

Row 2)  Ch 2, Hdc in first st; repeat across, turn: 11 hdc.

Row 3) End black and attach yellow to first stitch, ch 3 hdc in each st across: 11 hdc.

Row 4) End yellow and attach black again. ch 2 hdc in each st across: 11 hdc.

Row 5 – 8) Ch 2, hdc in first st, repeat across: 11 hdc.

Row 9)  end Black, attaching yellow in first st,m ch 2 hdc in each st across: 11 hdc.

Row 10 – 11) End the yellow and attach the black in the first hdc st, ch 2 hdc in each st around.

End weaving in all ends.
